Bright, elegant, and naturally sweet, this exceptional single-origin coffee comes from the renowned Sholi Cooperative in Rwanda's Muhanaga District, Southern Province.
Fully washed and medium roasted, this coffee offers a beautifully balanced cup with tasting notes of sweet raspberry, raisin, lemon sweetness, and black tea.
This coffee is produced through the Kundwa Women's Association, the women-led parent organization of the Sholi Cooperative. Through this program, women cultivate communal coffee plots and directly benefit from the proceeds.
The Sholi Cooperative includes 619 members, 241 of whom are women, with women serving in leadership roles on the cooperative's board. Fairtrade funds have supported community health centers, education initiatives, apiary projects, and programs that empower young single mothers.
