Ethiopia Guji

This coffee is sourced from the Guji region of Ethiopia. The Guji region has traditionally produced natural process coffees, however many private washing stations have opened in recent years, producing excellent washed coffees. This coffee is from the Guracho Washing Station, which is made up of about 2,300 farmers and owned by Sibu Coffee. Sibu owns multiple washing stations in the area and is actively invested in community development projects. They have fully funded renovations to the nearby primary school that many of the farmers children attend, as well as funding the purchase of two shipping containers full of school supplies. They have also contributed to expansion of fresh water supply for the community. Besides their community involvement, Sibu has worked with the Guracho washing station to produce excellent coffees and improve market access for farmers.
